
Clearfield, PA – Michael Peduzzi, President and CEO of CNB Bank, is pleased to announce the promotion of Heather Koptchak to Executive Vice President, Chief Employee Resources Officer. In this role, Ms. Koptchak will continue to collaborate with executive leadership to strategically align human resources initiatives with the Bank’s business goals, promoting a motivating, engaging and positive work environment for all employees.
Ms. Koptchak’s responsibilities include overseeing human resources functions such as talent acquisition and management, performance management, employee relations, compensation and payroll, retirement and health and wellness benefits, HR compliance, and retention strategies. She also serves as the primary liaison between CNB Executive Management and the CNB Leadership Institute, which provides high-caliber leadership training to the organization’s management leaders.

Ms. Koptchak began her career at CNB Bank in 2004 as a part-time universal associate and quickly advanced through numerous positions, including roles in customer service, wealth management, and community office leadership. She has led the Employee Resources Department for several years and has ascended through numerous corporate roles, including Assistant Vice President, Regional Manager, Vice President and Senior Vice President, prior to earning this promotion to Executive Vice President.
A graduate of Philipsburg Osceola High School and The Pennsylvania State University, Wilkes-Barre Campus with an Associate of Science degree in Business Administration, Ms. Koptchak has also completed advanced banking and leadership programs, including the PA Bankers Advanced School of Banking, Graduate School of Banking HR Management School, CNB Leadership Institute, Bartell Leadership School, and holds the SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) designation.
She is actively involved in her community, including serving as a board member for the YMCA of Centre County and volunteering at local school events.
