Clearfield, P.A. – CNB Bank is proud to celebrate its 160th anniversary, marking a remarkable milestone in its long history of service, growth, and commitment to the communities it serves. Founded on February 5, 1865, as County National Bank of Clearfield [Pennsylvania], CNB Bank has grown from humble beginnings into a dynamic and innovative financial institution with a strong multi-state regional presence.

“This milestone is a testament to our deep roots in the community and our dedication to building lasting relationships with our customers,” said Michael Peduzzi, President and CEO of CNB Bank. “Since our founding in 1865, CNB has evolved to meet the changing needs of our clients while staying true to our mission of helping individuals, businesses, and communities thrive.”

CNB Bank has a long history of growth and commitment to excellence. The institution became a wholly owned subsidiary of CNB Financial Corporation in 1984, enabling further growth in financial offerings. In 2006, what was County National Bank transitioned from a national banking charter to a state banking charter and rebranded as CNB Bank. Over the past 160 years, the Bank has grown to 53 offices across four states, employing over 800 employees. Today, CNB Bank operates the following six divisions, each
delivering personalized service and local expertise to the communities they serve:

  • Ridge View Bank, based in Roanoke, Virginia, with offices in the Southwest Virginia region
  • Impressia Bank, a division focused on banking opportunities for women, which currently operates in each of CNB Bank's market areas

As CNB Bank celebrates its 160th anniversary, the core values that have guided the organization for more than a century and a half continue: client focus, innovation, leadership, accountability, professionalism, integrity, respect, volunteerism, collaboration, inclusion, and a steadfast focus on providing customer-focused financial support for the people and communities it serves.

“Reaching 160 years is a significant achievement, and we owe that success to the trust and loyalty of our customers and the hard work and dedication of our employees,” said Jeffrey Powell, Chairperson of the Board of Directors for CNB Financial Corporation. “We look forward to building on this legacy and continuing to make a positive impact for generations to come.”
