State College, P.A. – A ceremonial ribbon cutting today marked the opening of CNB Bank’s first SMART Banking Center in State College. The new office, located at 1524 West College Avenue, represents CNB Bank's first full-service office in State College, following the opening of CNB’s Private Client Solutions office in 2023.
The new 1,645-square-foot office is dedicated to make financial transactions and information gathering easier for clients. Designed with a forward-thinking approach, CNB Bank’s SMART center concept includes a wireless café-style lobby, open transaction areas, digital displays, cash recyclers, a coin counter, and a coffee station.
The office is also complemented by a SMART Station, where customers use interactive video to perform transactions including deposits and withdrawals, loan payments, cashing checks, checking on account balances, and loan payoffs. Customers can access the SMART station and speak to a banker during extended hours Monday through Friday 7am-7pm, and 8am-3pm Saturday.
"We are thrilled to open our first full-service SMART Center and bring our personalized community banking approach to State College. This state-of-the-art facility will provide clients with personalized service and innovative banking solutions,” said CNB Bank Regional President Dustin Minarchick.
In attendance for the ribbon-cutting ceremony were representatives from the Centre County United Way and the State College Little League. CNB Bank presented a $1,000 donation to each organization and will continue to offer ongoing support to the State College community through local sponsorships and employee volunteer efforts.
