Co-workers, friends and well wishers recently extended best wishes and thanks to long time employees of CNB Bank, Donna Collins, Robin Hay and Diane Sunderland, who retired at the end of July and early August, for their dedication and years of service.
In 2014, Robin was inducted into the Pennsylvania Bankers Association’s (PBA) 40-Year Club, and Donna was inducted in 2015. Each year the PBA recognizes bankers completing 40 or more years of service in Pennsylvania’s banking industry and who are regular members of the PBA. In total, CNB has had eight employees surpass the 40-year mark.
Ms. Collins began her banking career with CNB in 1975. Throughout her career she has held positions in data processing and proof, and was receptionist, administrative assistant, assistant compliance officer, assistant vice president/compliance, and most recently was vice president/regulation and examination.
A native of Clearfield, Donna graduated from Clearfield Area High School in 1974. She went on to attend the Central Pennsylvania Business School in Summerdale, PA. Since joining the Bank she has graduated from the Pennsylvania Bankers Association (PBA) Compliance Academy and PBA Compliance Management Academy. Donna has also earned banking diplomas from the American Bankers Association (ABA) to include, Home Mortgage Disclosure Act for Compliance Professionals, Management Training/Bank Secrecy Act, Banking Today and Managing Compliance Priorities, as well as certificates in Supervision and Sales and Service.
Donna currently resides in Clearfield with her husband, Marty. She is the daughter of Zaneth Casteel and the late Dr. Donald Casteel. She helps serve our community as an officer for the Clearfield American Legion Auxiliary Post 6, and has served on the Board of Directors for the Children’s Aid Society and the Clearfield Chapter of the American Red Cross. Donna has also chaired the Finance Committee at Trinity United Methodist Church, where she is a member.
Mr. Hay began his banking career at CNB in 1973 as messenger. Throughout his career he has held the positions of head teller, credit department manager, assistant branch manager, assistant cashier lending, branch manager, commercial loan officer, and was most recently vice president of commercial lending at the bank’s main office in Clearfield.
A native of Clearfield, Mr. Hay graduated from Clearfield Area High School in 1973. Robin is also a 1989 graduate of the Central Atlantic Advanced School of Banking and a 1991 graduate of National Commercial Lending School. In 1994, Mr. Hay successfully completed Stonier Graduate School of Banking.
Robin resides in Clearfield with his wife, Sharon, and is a member of the St. Francis Church in Clearfield.
Ms. Sunderland began her banking career with CNB in 1985. Throughout her career she has established an expertise in the data processing and proof department where she has held the position of item processor.
A native of Clearfield, Ms. Sunderland graduated from Clearfield Area High School in 1969.
Diane resides in Clearfield with her companion, Dale, and has two children, Steven Sunderland and Angie Rish. She was an active member of the Save the Ritz committee.
