Greg Dixon, CNB Bank’s Market Executive, is proud to announce that Jackie Lantzy, Community Office Manager of CNB’s Blair County office, recently graduated from the Blair County Chamber of Commerce sponsored Leadership Blair County.
Established in 1994, Leadership Blair County cultivates, develops, and nurtures the potential leaders within the community. The program identifies, educates, and motivates the areas promising leaders and prepares them for service to the community in a variety of important roles. Through a series of sessions, often using the community itself for its classroom, the program allows class participants to exchange ideas and information with established leaders and experts from many fields. Future leaders gain first-hand experience about critical issues as they develop the skills necessary to become an effective community leader.
Each year, the incoming class selects a community service project and the class of 2017 chose to team up with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Blair County. Through their efforts, they provided 160 bicycles, helmets, and locks for the Littles in the program. They also purchased an enclosed trailer to haul and secure the bikes so that the children can enjoy the many trails the county has to offer. In addition, there were several upgrades made to the Big Brothers Big Sisters home office.
“Being a part of Leadership Blair County was a tremendous experience and I was honored to have the opportunity to meet 23 other engaged business and community members,” said Ms. Lantzy. “I feel confident and proud that the 2017 class has left a lasting impact on Blair County” said Ms. Lantzy.
A native of Altoona, Ms. Lantzy is a 2001 graduate of Altoona High School and a 2005 graduate of Alleghany College where she earned her B.S. degree in Managerial Economics. She has over ten years of banking experience and joined the CNB team in March 2016, as the Bank expanded its footprint into Blair County.
Ms. Lantzy currently resides in Altoona with her husband, Aaron, and their two children, Ryann and Charli. She is a member of The Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament and currently serves as the Assistant Treasurer for the Altoona Women’s Club.
Based on strong, traditional values, CNB Bank is dedicated to being the premier financial services provider in the area, focused on the changing needs of people and businesses in our communities by providing the highest quality service.
