Clearfield, P.A. – CNB Bank held a groundbreaking ceremony today to launch the construction of its headquarters expansion. The development of a multi-use building on Market Street in downtown Clearfield will further support the long-term growth of CNB Bank.
“The expansion of our headquarters is about more than just the growth of our business, it is a sign of our longstanding commitment to the Clearfield community,” stated CNB Bank CEO, Mr. Joseph B. Bower, Jr., “As one of the area’s largest employers, we remain dedicated to supporting the local economy through our continued investment in the area that CNB Bank has called home for over 150 years.”
The 12,000 square foot building expansion is designed to maintain the historical downtown facade to match Clearfield’s existing architecture. Completion of the project is anticipated during the fourth quarter of this year. Eight years ago, the bank completed a $6 million expansion that provided workspace for a total of 180 employees. Since then, the bank has added over 50 new positions and plans to continue to add to its local workforce.
With the recent introduction of its newest division, Ridge View Bank, in November 2021, CNB Bank has grown to more than 750 employees in four states including Pennsylvania, New York, Ohio, and Virginia. The growth, despite national economic uncertainty throughout the pandemic, supplements the need for expansion to support the Bank as it broadens its national footprint.
