Submission Dates: June 1 through July 23! On August 15, twelve winners—including one Best of Show (Cover) and several honorable mentions—will be announced. The winning photographs will be showcased in CNB Bank's 2026 Wall Calendar, which will be available to customers starting in November.

2026 Calendar Contest Guidelines

CNB Bank is excited to launch the 2026 Calendar Photography Contest, themed “America Through the Lens: 250 Years of Beauty in the Wild.” This contest invites our community to celebrate the nation’s natural beauty by capturing photos of landscapes, wildlife, and scenery that reflect the richness of our wilderness within our communities.

Photographers of all skill levels—from novices to seasoned professionals—are encouraged to unleash their creativity and capture the untamed beauty of America throughout the seasons. Focusing on the communities served by the bank, this initiative celebrates the unique perspectives of residents as seen through their lenses.

 

IMAGE FILE REQUIREMENTS & GUIDELINES

  • Eligibility: Photos must depict scenes from communities where we live and serve.
  • Submissions: Each person may submit up to two images. Photos must be submitted online between June 1 and July 23. Submissions via social media or email will not be accepted.
  • Format: Photos must be horizontal or "landscape" format. Vertical photos will not be accepted.
  • Resolution: Images must be shot in the highest uncompressed resolution possible.
  • Dimensions: Minimum photo dimensions are 12 inches wide by 9 inches high at 300 dpi (3600w x 2700h pixels) or larger.
  • File Size: Maximum file size is 20 megabytes per photo.
  • Restrictions: Do not add text, watermarks, dates, logos, names, or any other markings to the photographs. AI-generated photos will not be considered.
  • Color Requirement: Only color photos are allowed. Black-and-white photos, images featuring faces, or those with political or religious affiliations will not be accepted.

Filenames:

  • Do not use generic filenames, such as IMG_1260.jpg.
  • Original (camera-generated) filenames are not acceptable and may result in disqualification.
  • Use descriptive filenames. For example: BlackMoshannonForest_AutumnBurkeDempsey.jpg.

Submission Form:

  • The "Upload Photos" section of the submission form includes a field for the location where the photo was taken.This field must be completed for your submission to be considered.
