DIXON NAMED EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT AND CHIEF RISK OFFICER

Greg DixonJoseph B. Bower, Jr., President and CEO of CNB Bank, recently announced the promotion of Gregory M. Dixon to Executive Vice President/Chief Risk Officer.  In this role, Mr. Dixon will enhance and develop practices that continue to increase shareholder value by assessing various factors that influence the Bank’s operations. 
 
Mr. Dixon’s career at the Bank, as well as his continued education, provided him with a strong background for this role. In April 2009, he was recognized for achieving honor student status from the PA Bankers School of Commercial Lending at the Pennsylvania Bankers Association.  And, in 2015, Greg graduated from the American Bankers Association’s Stonier Graduate School of Banking. His prior roles within the bank include, CNB Market Executive, Vice President/Credit Administration and Vice President/Commercial Lending. He joined CNB Bank in 2003.
 
“Greg’s expertise in credit underwriting along with his knowledge of the financial industry and our markets prepared him for this critical role,” said Mr. Bower. “I am confident that he will be diligent monitoring and assessing potential impacts to the Bank, and will ensure that we stay ahead of changing technologies and business practices so that we continue to provide our customers and shareholders an exceptional experience.”
 
A native of Clearfield, Greg graduated from Clearfield Area High School in 1995 prior to receiving his B.S in Accounting from Indiana University of PA in 1999. 
 
Greg resides in Clearfield with his wife, Valerie, and their son, Luke.  He is a member of and Eucharistic Minister for the St. Francis of Assisi Church of Clearfield.  He serves on the Board of Directors for the Clearfield Municipal Authority, Clearfield United Way, and Clearly Ahead.
